Fresh off her opening slot on Doechii’s ‘Live From The Swamp’ tour, Maryland-born artist Kelow LaTesha is reminiscing with excitement from the experience. “It was sold out,” she recalls, adding that she brought her family with her while meeting the Grammy Award-winning rapper and her team. “When I met Doechii, she was like, ‘You’re an amazing artist. Keep doing what you’re doing,’ which was crazy because I think the same of her,” she enthuses, as if she’s still pinching herself.

2025 has been a rewarding year for the rapper, who’s released three singles that lean into self-growth and evolution. The bright “Honest” sees LaTesha waxing poetic about how even during tough times, she remains resilient and lives life in a way that is true to herself. “Songs like ‘Honest,’ ‘Celebration,’ and ‘Sexc’ show a new reflection of where I’m at now,” she says. “I’ve been stepping into a new version of me, and I’ll always evolve. It’ll continuously happen until I die.”
