MARVIN Celebrates the British Invasion Issue in Los Angeles

On August 20, MARVIN brought the pages of its latest issue to life with a launch event in Los Angeles celebrating British Invasion. More than a party, the night was a cultural exchange—music, fashion, and art colliding under one roof to spotlight the new wave of UK talent shaping what comes next.

From the moment doors opened, the atmosphere carried the restless, boundary-pushing energy of MARVIN itself. Artists, collaborators, and friends of the magazine gathered for a night that embodied everything the issue represents: fearless creativity, global influence, and community at the forefront of culture.

The lineup reflected that spirit with a carefully curated mix of voices across scenes and sounds. Taylor Acorn delivered a commanding set, her soaring vocals culminating in the premiere of her brand-new single and video “Hangman”—a defining moment of the evening that gave guests a glimpse into her bold next chapter.

The stage continued to ignite with appearances from Starcrawler, whose high-voltage performance embodied LA rock energy at its most unrestrained, and Visitor, whose set added another layer of sonic depth to the night. Barns Courtney brought a dose of anthemic power, his voice cutting through with the kind of urgency that defines a true live performer. Behind the decks, DJ sets from N8NOFACE and Richie Rich kept the room moving—bridging genres and generations while setting the tone between acts.

The evening was made possible with the support of our brand partner, Eclypce, whose collaboration helped bring the vision of British Invasion to life. Together, MARVIN and Eclypce created a launch experience that was not only a celebration of music but a statement of cultural momentum.

The crowd reflected that same convergence: musicians, designers, tastemakers, and cultural voices all mingling in a space that blurred the lines between scenes. Conversations moved between fashion and sound, underground and mainstream, UK and US, creating a living snapshot of the cultural cross-pollination fueling the British Invasion issue.

With British Invasion, MARVIN shines a light on the artists redefining what it means to create in the UK today while acknowledging the global stage they now command. The Los Angeles launch wasn’t just a celebration of a new issue—it was the physical manifestation of the movement itself. A reminder that what begins in one city, one country, or one scene can reverberate worldwide, shaping the culture of tomorrow in real time.
