MARVIN Spotlight: Conan Gray, Chase Atlantic & Mod Sun

It’s always a privilege to connect with and showcase a diverse range of artists, each bringing unique backgrounds, sounds, and talents to the table. What’s even more rewarding is reflecting on their journeys and seeing the incredible growth and milestones they’ve achieved over time. In recognition of that sentiment, this week, we’re excited to turn the spotlight on three incredible artists whom MARVIN Magazine has had the privilege to feature.

First up, we have singer-songwriter Mod Sun, who was featured in MARVIN Magazine Issue #6. When we last caught up with him, he had just premiered a documentary about his life and was gearing up for the release of a new album, alongside the film Good Mourning, which he co-directed with Machine Gun Kelly. Since then, Mod Sun has successfully brought the movie to life and has also released several music projects, including his album God Save The Teen. Additionally, he dropped various singles including “Hotel Lights”, “Figure Me Out” and “Sunshine,” a collaboration with Machine Gun Kelly.

Next up, from MARVIN Issue #10, Chase Atlantic, the Australian alternative, indie, dance, and electronic boy band made up of Clinton Cave, Christian Anthony, and Mitchel Cave. When we last caught up with them, the band shared their personal journey—from their childhood love of music to recording and producing their entire album BEAUTY IN DEATH in their Studio City home. Since then, Chase Atlantic has continued to release hit after hit, including their latest album Lost in Heaven. The band has been busy with extensive tours, both nationally and internationally, and are embarking on their  global tour in 2025.

Last but certainly not least, we have Conan Gray, our cover star for MARVIN Magazine Issue #12. When we interviewed the pop sensation, often hailed as the crown prince of unrequited love songs, he opened up about his first love and heartbreak, reflecting on the creation of hits like “Heather.” In his latest album Found Heaven, we witness a profound transformation—both as an artist and as a person. The album marks a new chapter for Conan, as he steps into fresh musical territory and delves into the raw emotions following a breakup. It’s a bold evolution for the singer, exploring deeper themes and sounds in this exciting phase of his career

We’re thrilled to see what’s next for the talented artists we’ve spotlighted, along with all those who have graced the pages of MARVIN Magazine. Their journeys continue to inspire and captivate, and we can’t wait to follow their next steps as they evolve in their music and personal growth.
