HAYLA’s Solo Debut Show at Roxy Theatre

HAYLA, one of the most recognizable voices in mainstream dance music right now thanks to her collaborations and special guest performances with heavyweights John Summit, Kygo, Sub Focus, MEDUZA and more, made her solo debut show December 4 at the iconic Roxy Theatre in Los Angeles. The sold-out crowd packed in early to be treated to a set from LA DJ SiLVA before witnessing the British singer, songwriter, producer appear on stage for the first time ever as headliner.

Adorned in a custom BCALLA catsuit underneath a strikingly shouldered black trench, slicked back low bun and vibrant red lip, HAYLA wasted no time getting the party started. With no backing band, hype DJ or dance ensemble, the powerhouse vocalist commanded the stage completely on her own and electrified the crowd for the next hour.

After launching the show with “Freefall,” she addressed the crowd, thanking them for being a part of such a special night for her.   The concert was made even more memorable as it served as a celebration for DUSK, HAYLA’s recently released solo debut album. Without break, HAYLA passionately belted out album cuts including “Visions of You,” “Embers,” “Alone” and “Only I.”  She also performed “Shiver” and “Where You Are,” her hits with John Summit, “Without You,” her song with Kygo, her MEDUZA collab track “Another World,” and for the encore the song that started her trajectory to dancefloor stardom “Escape,” her song with Kx5, deadmau5 and Kaskade’s project.
