Dr. Martens & Marc Jacobs Showcase New Jadon Boot with Yves Tumor.
Dr Marten’s and Marc Jacobs are both synonymous with subculture from the early punks of the 70s to the grunge mavens of the 90s. With Jacobs being one of the first designers to send Dr. Marten’s down the runway in his iconic 1993 show for Perry Ellis.
Their latest collaboration sees Jacob’s pay homage to the heritage of the Jadon silhouette leaving it completely untouched, a sign of respect for a timeless design that doesn’t need altering. Instead, Marc embellishes the Jadon boot with charms and keepsakes, to create an item that can become a cherished collectible.
The boot was created to celebrate the Jadon boot’s 10th anniversary and campaign photography features the music maverick Yves Tumor.
