MARVIN Exclusive: Huddy’s Rock ‘n’ Roll Masquerade Brought to Life with ‘Huddyween’

There’s no party quite like Huddyween. Under the dim glow of chandeliers and the pulse of bass-heavy beats, Chase “Huddy” Hudson turned Halloween into his own rock ‘n’ roll fever dream—part old Hollywood glamour, part modern mischief. Draped in his signature sharp-edged style, the former MARVIN cover star moves through the night like a frontman born out of a ‘70s vinyl sleeve, his aesthetic equal parts romantic and rebellious. The social media star turned musician has been carving his lane in a world where fashion and sound collide, evolving far past the teen idol image and into a full-fledged creative force. Between gothic grandeur and killer fits, Huddy sat down with MARVIN to talk about his sonic inspirations, dream collaborations, and the next era of his music. From Gene Simmons cosplay to avant-garde streetwear, he’s rewriting what it means to be a rockstar in 2025—one costume, one chord, and one chaotic night at a time.

MARVIN: You’re throwing a Halloween party tonight – what’s the ultimate vibe you want people to feel when they walk in?

HUDDY: I want people to feel like they’re walking into a real formal ballroom party mixed with old Hollywood essence – to feel the music, have a stellar time, and be intrigued to meet some people they’ve never met without getting to see their entire face.

MARVIN: You’re described as a rock artist. How would you describe your style to us in your own words?

HUDDY: My style is ’70s rock ‘n’ roll meets avant-garde and modern day streetwear. It’s romantic, sharp, and chic.

MARVIN: What artists or songs have you been listening to recently?

HUDDY: I’ve been listening to the new Tame Impala album and Not for Radio’s new album. Joji and Rosalia’s new singles have also been very fun to listen to. It’s interesting to see so many artists try new things.

MARVIN: If you could collaborate with anyone right now, who would it be?

HUDDY: I would collaborate with Yungblud or Oli Sykes. I got to see them live in concert recently and they were both incredible.

MARVIN: What can audiences be on the lookout for in the future of your music? What do you want them to look forward to?

HUDDY: I’ve been preparing for my next album for a while now, so be on the lookout for that.

MARVIN: What’s your favorite Halloween costume you’ve ever done?

HUDDY: I think my favorite costume has been Gene Simmons from KISS. It was the only time I was completely unrecognizable. I had the wig, the six-inch heels, the makeup, the shoulder pads, everything. I felt like a superhero.

As the last notes of Huddyween faded into the night, Huddy reminded everyone that he’s not just playing dress-up—he’s building a world where rock ‘n’ roll romance and rebellion still rule. With a new album on the horizon and a vision that blurs the lines between music, fashion, and performance art, Huddy’s next chapter feels less like a comeback and more like a takeover. Whether he’s channeling Gene Simmons or reinventing himself under the neon lights, one thing’s clear—Huddy isn’t afraid to haunt the spotlight on his own terms.
