Skip Marley Drops New Video for “In Our Sight”

Skip Marley returns with the official video for his latest single In Our Sight, filmed in his birthplace of Jamaica. Directed by Aka.Ruppi—known for working with Masicka and Shenseea—the video feels like both a tribute and a rallying cry, matching the song’s uplifting spirit with striking visuals.

The track, produced by Black Chiney Sound founder Supa Dups, rides on classic reggae grooves while Skip’s vocals carry forward the message of unity and resilience that runs through his family’s legacy. Echoing his grandfather Bob Marley’s call for strength, Skip describes the video as something to inspire hope: “I want you to feel not defeated. I want you to feel like all things are possible through the powers of the Most High.”

With its soaring chorus—“Side by side, victory’s in our sight / We gotta keep on believing”—the song has quickly become a motivational anthem on reggae airwaves and playlists since its August release.

Mimi Webb has dropped the official video for “I Met A Boy,” one of the standout tracks from her sophomore album Confessions. Directed by Avesta Keshtmand, the visual feels like a window into Mimi’s world—jumping between cozy apartments, bustling streets, and sunlit cafés with the intimacy of a personal photo diary.

The song itself finds Mimi exploring new territory, leaning into an R&B influence while keeping the radiant pop storytelling that’s become her signature. “‘I Met a Boy’ is probably one of the more unique songs on the album,” she explains. “We’ve all flirted with someone, only to find out they’re already in a relationship, so I hope this song feels relatable to many.”

Released just last week, Confessions captures heartbreak, empowerment, and self-discovery across tracks like the biting “Narcissist” and the emotional “You Don’t Look At Me The Same.” With “I Met A Boy,” Mimi delivers one of the album’s brightest moments, pairing candid lyrics with a playful new sonic edge.

Destroy Lonely has officially delivered the third installment of his Broken Hearts series. <3^3 (Broken Hearts 3), out now via Opium / Interscope, extends a run that began in 2020 and has grown into one of his defining projects.

The release follows “Jumanji”, a single that dives deeper into Lonely’s shadowy, cinematic universe—equal parts atmospheric and hypnotic, anchored by his fluid melodic delivery. The track set the tone for what’s already shaping up to be his most expansive statement yet.

Next up: the stage. In October, Lonely joins Playboi Carti’s Antagonist Tour, hitting arenas across the U.S. alongside Ken Carson and Homixide Gang. It’s the first time the full Opium collective will tour together—a milestone moment for a crew that’s been steadily reshaping the sound and aesthetic of underground rap on a global scale.

For Lonely, <3^3 (Broken Hearts 3) isn’t just another release—it’s the next step in cementing himself, and Opium, as one of rap’s most important movements right now.
