MARVIN Music News: will.i.am, LØLØ, and DE’WAYNE release new projects

will.i.am Releases Powerful New Single “East LA” Featuring Taboo
7x GRAMMY winner and global icon will.i.am returns with a new single titled “East LA,” featuring fellow Black Eyed Peas member Taboo.
The track serves as a tribute to their hometown of Boyle Heights, a neighborhood in East Los Angeles where both artists grew up. “East LA” opens with a reimagining of Santana’s “Maria Maria,” which famously references the area, and evolves into a deeply personal anthem rooted in cultural pride and storytelling.

Inspired by recent political events and a desire to uplift his community, will.i.am channels themes of identity, resilience, and solidarity into the song. The release is a celebration of the strength and unity found in East LA: past and present.
LØLØ Drops New Single “the devil wears converse” on July 25
Alt-rock/pop-punk artist LØLØ returns July 25 with “the devil wears converse,” a cheeky, relatable anthem warning against falling for that guy—the one with the cool shoes and backwards hat.

The track follows the deluxe edition of her debut album falling for robots and wishing I was one and showcases her signature blend of vulnerability and punk edge.
Fresh off the festival circuit, LØLØ will hit the road with Simple Plan on a North American headline tour starting August 9.
DE’WAYNE takes over MARVIN and The Viper Room
To celebrate the release of his new album “june”, DE’WAYNE will headline a special album release show at The Viper Room in Los Angeles on Tuesday, July 30. Doors open at 7PM and music begins at 8PM.

In addition, DE’WAYNE will be taking over @marvin_thebrand on Instagram all day, giving fans a behind-the-scenes look at the lead-up to the show and the release of “june”.
