Landing alongside Frieze, Post Human VII brings together curator-artist Tobias Ross-Southall and Thames Carpets for a collision of contemporary art and ancient craft. The show features works by Hayden Kays, Helen Beard, Sola Olulode, Saman & Sasan Oskouei, Tom Furse, James Massiah, Mays Al Moosawi, Michael McGrath, and Ross-Southall himself.
Each artist’s vision is reimagined as a handwoven carpet, luxury objects that blur the line between artwork and artifact. Historically, rugs told stories and mapped power; here they act as sites for modern expression, translating digital-age ideas through thread and tradition.

In a divided moment, Post Human VII argues for connection: across craft, code, and culture.
The seventh in Ross-Southall’s ongoing global series, Post Human VII continues the artist’s exploration of material and meaning in the post-human era.
