Legendary rockers Sublime went unplugged on August 20, at New York City’s premier live music bar, Silver Lining Lounge, and performed an intimate, sold-out show. The appearance was part of the Lipps Service Concert Series, hosted by Scott Lipps of Lipps Service Podcast, that’s been taking place biweekly at the renowned, local-favorite venue.

Singer Jakob Nowell, son of the iconic band’s original, late frontman Bradley, performed alongside founding member and bassist Eric Wilson and guitarist of The Falling Idols Trey Pangborn. The group played an acoustic set stacked with classic hits and fan-favorite obscurities, from “Santeria” and “What I Got” to “Jailhouse” and “Saw Red,” including the band’s newest single with Jakob, “Ensenada.”
